Did you know your A/C system works all year round, even in winter??? It does!!!!
Your A/C system should be serviced regularly to keep you cool and to prevent system failure.
Your A/C compressor is an engine as well. It needs to be kept free of moisture, full of refrigerant (typically R134A) which cools the compressor, and lubricated with oil that is injected into the system. This is then carried through the system by the refrigerant.
What we do:
Test system cycling pressures
Remove refrigerant charge and weigh against Manufacturers specification
Vacuum system to 30 inches of mercury for 30 minutes
add appropriate pag or ester oil volume for system requirements typically 1 to 2 oz
add 1/4 oz of dye, for current and future leak testing
add specified refrigerant charge weight.
test output temperature
test cooling fan operation/ and cycling switches
test system operation pressures

VEHICLE SOTWARE LEVEL CHECK AND UPDATE
All Vehicle Manufacturers correct known problems that occur in their products with updated software. These updates are designed to enhance engine, transmission, body, transfer case and other subsystem operation. Some system updates may even reduce the frequency of diagnostic trouble codes (DTC'S). Checking your vehicle software level is a service which should be performed once a year, or during a tune up. We are able to offer these benefits via our J2534 interface, giving you better function and fuel economy in your 1996 to current year, car or light truck.
Pricing will vary as per Manufacturer. Most domestic vehicles will be $160.00 for all system
